Despite having a school IDP since Year 3, her anxiety led her to refuse school in February 2024 (Year 9) due to EBSA, compounded by the pressure of choosing her GCSE options.

Katie thrives with 1:1 tuition and a distraction-free environment. As our LEA couldn't provide suitable EOTAS, we chose to home educate her with Crossroads Education Consulting's support. Kate and Gavin built a rapport with Katie, identified her learning barriers and preferences, and designed a bespoke curriculum.
In just over a month, Kate and Gavin have significantly boosted Katie's confidence and enjoyment of learning. She is now more independent and enthusiastic, starting her day with learning without prompting. We're thrilled with her progress and newfound love for learning.

Kate and Gavin at Crossroads Educational Consultants are truly amazing and a wonderful find. We had to deregister our neurodivergent children (8 and 11) from school last year due to lack of support. Since then we have tried to find a tutor for our youngest so we got a basic primary education, but the tutors only saw her once a week and didn't achieve much and unfortunately messed us around.

Then I found Crossroads. We met Kate and she explained how they do 1 session a week with the children but also work online and give loads of resources to the children to work through. She met my daughter who loved her and loved her first lesson so much she convinced her brother to have a tutor too and so we met Gavin. Kate and Gavin tailor the lessons to the children's needs and interests. They don't put any pressure on the children and both love their lessons! My son has a PDA profile and is really difficult to engage in learning but somehow Gavin manages it with ease! Kate and Gavin are really friendly and always contactable which makes our lives easier. 100 stars!!!
